I selected Eli Polite's piece, Small Wonder has outstanding form, incredible inlays, and an incredible finish. His pieces always rank up there with the howdhedothat from a technical standpoint. But that's just the start. His forms are always well done and his finishes are absolutely top-notch.

Eli's work is always impressive. His attention to the fine details in everything he creates is what makes the difference. He is one of the masters in construction of segmented works, and worthy of John's selection for TOTW. Congratulations, Eli.
