Turning of the Week for October 3, 2022

My selection for Turning of the Week of October 3, 2022 is "MESQUITE VASE" by Randy Anderson.

I was drawn to this piece by the flowing curve that frames an organic feature of bark inclusions and voids.
The soft finish works well with the organic surface.

I love it! It's very well done. A duller, more matte finish is my favorite and this piece, in particular, looks great with it.
