Once again it is my turn to choose the TOTW. I take the selection process very seriously. I take my time and scroll very slowly thru the photo gallery. When something catches my eye, I open that picture in a new window. Tonight I had 21 windows open! The competition was fierce! I wish that I could choose first, second and third, LOL. As I look further into each picture, I keep a notepad and give them a ranking. Sort of like how I edit my pictures with Adobe Lightroom. I then keep open just the ones that got a 5-star rating. The winner tonight swayed me with the story and or explanation behind the picture. I always say that some of the top artists sell their work well because they know how to describe it. The inspiration behind it, the idea. Perhaps the story of the wood itself, and lots more.

This week, Angelo Iafrate's work: "Twenty Magic Balls" got my attention right away. I encourage you to read what they are. Take a few minutes to watch the videos he linked. I love magic! I have been to Las Vegas several times. I will never forget my very first trip. I saw just about every magic show they had that week. Included David Copperfield, and, yes, Penn & Teller!! So, this week TOTW goes to our own, former AAW President Angelo Iafrate!

Congratulations Angelo. Keep up the great work everyone!! A link to the picture posting: https://www.aawforum.org/community/media/twenty-magic-ball-boxes.19988/

I saw this last night and thought 'someone local to me was doing this'. Then I followed the link, and the links there, and realized why - Angelo is local-ish :)

The Penn & Teller video is a must see on that page. As is Angelo's video.
