Turning of the week, Monday August 15, 2022

For the Turning of the Week for August 15, 2022, I chose “Big leaf maple burl hollow form" by John Hicks.

​

This is a collaboration between John and Mother Nature. Both are working together well to make this a great object of art. Although John hasn't been turning wood for as long as a few others here, he certainly has come up with a few very nicely done pieces, worthy of high praise. Check out his AAW gallery here:
