Does anyone recognize this pen kit? I don't where or when I acquired it. The tubes mike about 8mm OD. There is a small and a large trim band. The refill has a spring on the writing end. I am looking for an instruction sheet for it.

Dennis— I am not 100% certain, but resembles the Apprentice Americana from Craft Supplies USA. That’s an old standard of theirs. You can find instructions for that kit at https://www.woodturnerscatalog.com/p/1/677/apprentice-Americana-Pen-Kit. Calls for a Letter O drill for the tubes which matches your 8 mm measurement if I recall correctly…don’t know my letters well.
Hope that is it!!

Thanks Earl. That looks like the one and I was able to download and print the instructions.

Glad i had a good guess. The penturners site has a “bushings and tubes” app that can be searched by tube diameter and length, often helpful.

Hope your turn goes well…
Earl
