Uploading Pictures-Help Requested

I am trying to upload pictures to this forum, and I think I've found my problem--they are @ 1.5 MB each. This, of course, exceeds the limit for .jpg photographs. What can I do to get these photos to fall within the limits set by the administrators?

There are hundreds of free and not-free applications that will help you re-size a photo file. Here's the results of a "resize picture" Google search. It's just a matter of finding the application you like best and learning how to use it.
