I am planning my vacation schedule for 2011. I’m trying to get info on any future Utah based symposiums in 2011. But I can’t find any info on any sponsor or location. Does anyone have any leads?

I’ve seen in the past (somewhere), a post describing that the Provo symposium was being moved from BYU due to BYU’s policy on no vendors on campus during the show. But I’ve been unable to find where I read this or any follow-up.

(Snicker) I did ordered a Oneway 2436 while at the AAW show. A sales guy at Oneway had a hard time understanding why I didn’t take one of their a demo lathes at the show. I kept telling him that Amtrak doesn’t consider a 850+ lbs lathe a carry-on…. So now I’m stalking the folks at the UPS truck depot back home waiting for the lathe to show up.

The 2008, 2009 and 2010 were all held at Utah Valley U, in mid to early May.

I haven't heard any thing on dates for 2011

Have you tried contacting Craft Supplies, USA? They always hold a big sale the day before the show. They call it "Super Wednesday." I bet they have next year's schedule already lined up, even if it isn't posted anywhere.

Thanks Ralph,

I was looking at the wrong location & school. (At least I had the right state...) So now I have a better idea of time and place.

Dave, when I was at the 2009, they noted they couldn't announce a date for the 2010 until all the paperwork was signed. Which didn't happen until mid/late summer last year.

I'm just guessing it will be about the same this year
