Hello everyone. I have been doing some research on the Rose lathe. The pumping element has me wondering.
How do you control the slop IN THE MOVEMENT? and how strong of a spring is needed to control the pumping back and forth?
Any help would be Appreciated.

Curt, look at the red books on the 2nd shelf in the MDF Rose Engine 2.0 Library. The 1st one (volume 1) outlines a pumping mechanism.
