My appologies in advance if I should already know this, but I'm confused...

After finally getting around to switching to the new forum I'm wondering which one is the real one... http://www.woodturner.org/vbforum or http://groups.yahoo.com/group/aaw_woodturning/messages/ or is it just a matter of preference or what?

TIA

Rick

As much as any AAW forum is "real", this is it, that is to say it is the official one. There are several other forums, some more active that this, but it is the one officially tied to AAW. Enjoy.

The Yahoo group was created a few months ago as a replacement to the aging email distribution list. It supplements this text forum. The email discussion list is described on the AAW website:AAW email discussion list

Two other moderators volunteered to moderate messages on the Yahoo email list. Some folks just like to get their woodturning discussion via email. Most folks tend to like the text forum here. (That's my preference).
