This was asked on Facebook book. I have done a lot of searching and have not found it. I may be able to build one. If you could nake you turning exactly a diameter of a multiple of this it would create a really cool pattern

John, I saw the same post on Facebook. In the comments, there was a link to the manufacturer. Price was almost $200. Now I cannot find the link. So it goes in the world of social media!

Have you run it through AI?

Lots of similar but none with that particular tool.

Yes agreed. I’ve seen quite a number of texturing tools, but nothing quite like that.

Edit: I thought I recognised the disc but it’s not the same.

I’ll post a picture though just out of interest. It’s a replacement Grinding Wheel Dresser disc.

I forsee one issue. The texturing tool pattern has a repeat length (basically the circumference of the wheel). If the circumference of the workpiece is not a whole number multiple of the repeat, the embossed pattern will not line up when the workpiece begins its second rotation.

I noticed that too. I have done some texturing with other wheels and it's easy to make a mess with some.
I see Sir Lucas referred to that in the first post:
