Anyone have luck using this jig with a 6” grinder? Or is meant to be used with an 8”? I understand the grind angle will be slightly different, just wondering if it will still work pretty well.

I've been using the Wolverine with a 6" grinder, it works fine. Set it up according to the directions, with the axis of the grinder 6-1/4 to 6-1/2 inches above the surface to which the Oneway bases are mounted. As to the angles, set them according to your tool bevels. The tools won't know that they are being ground on a 6" wheel as opposed to an 8" one (although the "hollow" of the grind will be more pronounced).

Used it for years on a 6" grinder. 8" grinders were a rarity back when I bough it!
I did have to saw off various pieces of the built-in tool rest on my Craftsman grinder so they weren't in the way of swinging the chisel.

I've used the Wolverine jig on my high-speed 7" grinder for 22 years. Bought my first 8" CBN wheel in 2013 and added a second CBN in 2015. Then added an 8" slow-speed Rikon in 2018. The Wolverine worked in all instances.
