Moving from Dry grinder to Tormek

Has anyone had experience with the Don Geiger setup? I've got everything in place but work and family have kept me from doing the final steps (and out of the shop). Last thing I was able to turn was a handle for a crochet needle last week and that's been it. And that was because my wife was breathing down my neck...literally. Up in Ohio this weekend and NC next. Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing if it makes a difference on my finish cuts with a "smoother" or "sharper" edge.
