might be a rear rest for a hollowing system like Jamieson or sinner
The part flat on the floor looks like 2 bars and a roller for trapping the handle

It is parts from a back rest made by McNaughton. There is a lot missing. They likely used the other parts to make a home built system that worked better.

Ah, thanks Lyle! I’ve got a lot of misc parts laying around now. I wonder if I can put it together. I’ve got a oneway system that works great for me so I’d likely part with it anyway.
