I've not got any link or specific info, but someone posted on Wood Central that our illustrious Congress has passed an reform bill on the wood toy testing requirement one from a year or so back. I'm certain many will be interested, but does anyone have a link to the actual reform bill?

The best thing to do is ask the CPSC for clarification if you are unsure of the applicability of the regulation. If you make things to sell at craft shows and it is not being done as a means of providing your livelihood, the following exemption under the definitions section might be applicable:
(ii) The term ‘retailer’ has the meaning
given that term in section 3 of the Consumer
Product Safety Act (15 U.S.C. 2052), but does
not include an individual whose selling activity
is intermittent and does not constitute
a trade or business.
