Offering for sale an unused Woodturners Carving stand, 1" steel post can be used in lathe banjo or attached to aluminum bench mount. Includes 1 ¼" x 8 thread for chuck/faceplate connection. $115 shipped (US shipping only)

Wow, what a great price! If I didn't already have two I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I use these hand scraping, hand sanding, etc.
I (and others I know) like Vic's design far better than the Bosch version. The second locking lever makes all the difference.

Leave the work in the chuck and position it for easy access:

(Tip: I use it mostly in the banjo but instead of fastening the bench base to the workbench I fasten it to a piece of wood and hold it in a bench vise.)
