Woodturning for Blind in Tampa

During the 2013 annual symposium in Tampa 10 blind folk from the local Lighthouse For The Blind organisation attended a touch-and-feel session with some interesting turned pieces provided by a number of professional wood turners, and then they all turned a pen each in the Youth Room (first time they had ever even seen a lathe). There is an article about this experience by Andi Sullivan and Al Miller in the February 2014 American Woodturner.
