At the 2011 Symposium I was able to view some of Todd Hoyer's forms with various types of holes. Very impressed with the idea. A friend just gave me several Sycamore trees and one of the smaller trunks had the pith eaten out by worms. Finally got the courage to hollow one out and have not stopped since. This pot is 8" x 7", finished with satin lacquer. Had to use resin to fill some of the deeper worm holes and it shows in two places. There are large voids on both sides, also left it natural edge.
