Yates American J-170

Hi Gang,
I stopped at a local auction this past weekend and bought two Yates American J-170 lathes, still in very good condition. I was wondering if anyone knows of this lathe. I believe it is a 3/4 hp but I have yet had the chance to really look at them, I just picked them up today.
Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a link to the OWWM site. This gentleman has some great "before and after" pictures of the same lathe. He may be able to give you some pointers on restoring your lathes.

Can't remember where I saw it (may have been SMC or Woodnet) where someone had rebuilt a J-Line and put EVS on it. If I find it again, I'll post the address.

The names listed are a little different but the castings etc look like the one in the referenced picture.
