Boxelder Goblet

Dimensions: 3.625"h x 4.5"w less than .0625" wall thickness

Another piece from my stash of Mulberry. This started as a bowl demo at one of July's turning meetings. When I got it home I continued working on it live on my webcam. My husband had been watching and came running down saying "Everyone makes bowl, what if you made this a goblet? You know like one of those sports cups!" I said "What, like the Stanley Cup?" He said "Yeah!".

What the hell. I had enough stock left in the chuck so I made a stem and base. Now he is the proud owner of the "Kapur Cup"!

The bowl is very thin, less than 1/16".

As always, higher res/more photos are on my site.
very nice
