Mulberry Paperweight
Dimensions: 3.25"diameter

From the same log as Mulberry Lace and others.

This was a lesson on turning a sphere, which is much harder than you would think. Your eye has a hard time seeing a perfect sphere. This was another webcam project.

I left this piece heavy so it could be used as a paperweight. You can also stick a pen or two in it.

It seems that no matter what I do with mulberry it continues to be one of my favorites. The grain and color have so much character. And, I have a pile in the driveway.

I agree with you Truffuls, spheres can be a challenge but it looks as though you succeeded here. Well done, Robbie
