1979 Maple Burl

1979 Maple Burl. finished 12-5-2021. Initial block was 12% MC as received. Could have been final turned in one setting, but did lose 5 grams over a period of 4 months. Sanded to 600gt, Danish Oil Natural, Beall 3-step buff. 8.5" x 3.125", 14.3 oz. This is one of my first attempts, using the Sakura pens for applying an inventory number. Looks like it's good enough to add to the permanent process. Note: I accidently knocked this roughed bowl off the workbench, breaking the waste block in two. The Titebond III repair held up fine during the final turn.
your detail as always odie is flawless, thats a high note to finish the year on, merry Xmas mate
