A ca-joined pair of Hollowforms

Both forms came from the same chunk of wood, ( Figured Maple ) the smaller form was the left over piece in the chuck from turning the larger form.
Larger form measures 7"h x 5 7/8"w smaller form is 4 3/8"h x 4 3/8"w on the smaller form it was my intention to have the width and hight the same, yet still have a pleasing form. Walnut collar on the larger form, form was dyed red sanded back then yellow and several coats of W.O.P. Smaller form was first bleached then dye and finish was done the same as the larger one, and of course the orientation of the turning was changed.
