Averett Sycamore II

This is the "sister" the first Averett bowl, turned from the facing half of the log. 10"D X 3 1/4"H - butcher block oil finish.
Thanks Gary! I was afraid I might have lost this piece of wood, after turning the other side some time back I set this one aside and went to other things. While looking for wood to turn a couple of new tool handles I discovered that the blank was checking pretty bad so I decided I better get to it. This is one of those instances where I knew there was beauty in there I just had to let it out without messing it up!
