Black Jar
John Jordan

Black Jar

Came across a folder of old work that is in the Renwick Gallery- the American Art Museum of the Smithsonian. These are all from the early 90's

This piece is dyed maple with fossil ivory. 13" tall
Inspiring, and very humbling, at the same time. Very, very nice John. I would have sworn it was blackwood to get that precise detail.
