Cankered pot

Really cool. How did you accomplish the edge? Was it carved?

Lars,
1/ first turned on two axis
2/ one edge is removed with a router I clamp on the bed (rotation of the piece by hand)
3/ hollowing (classic) on a third axe (central)

4/ the second edge is carved to simulate the overlapping
5/ the bottom dowel is removed and the sanding is done by hand
was greenwood, it's nicely distorted

What a neat process Lionel, fabulous result & it reminds me of a Cornish Pastie with that crimped edge one side. Very different
