China Berry Pepper Mill

Hey Bill; I have enjoyed seeing your Pepper Mills here, seems as though we share the same ideas regarding design for these. Since they are basically kitchen utensils subject to collecting all kinds of stuff from busy hands, the simple curves give both eye appeal and easy wipe clean values to them.

Utilizing nicely figured wood, as you have done here makes them even more desirable. May I ask what finish you are using and do you seal the insides as well ? Great job ! Hope to see more soon.


Haven't heard of China Berry trees since I was a kid in Southern California, WOW !, brings back memories.

Thanks Clint, Yes I have made all kinds of shapes. I seal the outside only with a sand and sealer then a lacquer matte finish. But I started to do a buffing after and I must say it looks great. Thanks to Paul of the Brevard woodturners club for the introduction of crafting these. I have a blast making these!
