Very neat looking piece, but the more I look at it the more I think this picture isn't capturing all the aspects well. The red dots and black slashes aren't the same feature are they? they are alternating features?! and I just noticed you have a round bottom with 4 corner feet back there, correct?
 
Thats right. I wanted a photo showing the black edge under the scallops, so the angle is steep.. I suppose I could have done two shots..
