"8 x 9" Acorn Canister. Poplar bottom and maple top, carved lid and leather dyes used for the colors. I made a bunch of these and they sold quickly this is my last one. I made the lids heavy enough that they stay on very well without worrying with a suction fit that down here never seem to work with 100% humidity and the almost tropical heat. I had plenty of these 8 to 9" poplar bowls that were made from slabs 5" to 6" thick. I was wondering how to sell these small deep bowls that usually don't sell for enough to make the work worth while. I came up with this idea and sold all at fair price.
