Walnut & Prima Vera Hollow form

Walnut & Prima Vera Hollow form

6 1/2" dia. x 6" t - This is one of those pieces that put up a fight - jumping off the chuck and rolling around the garage, requiring a re-shaping. I'm interested to hear feedback on this if anyone's interested. Thickness goes from around 1/16" to about 5/16 towards the inside bottom. Sanded to 1000 and finished w/ Mylands friction polish.
The way you took advantage of the sweep in the grain of the walnut to accentuate the profile is quite well done. The contrasting Prima Vera (white mahogany) was an excellent choice to put life into the piece and the finish is soft, not overwhelming. A nice job all 'round.
