Corrugata Natural Edge Bowl

Corrugata Natural Edge Bowl

This Corrugata bowl measures 11"x12"x3". Originally, I had planned to turn it with a natural bottom. The wood just looked too good, so I decided to turn the bottom, also, with some good advice from Jim Syvertson along the way. The bowl is finished with 4 coats of antique oil, then Beall buffed to a gloss. Comments and critiques are welcome.
Michael,
This is from the Lee Tree Woodworks site:

Corrugata/Rib Fruited Mallee - Eucalyptus Corrugata - This tree or Mallee. has bark smooth throughout or persistent on lower trunk, fibrous-flaky with whitish patches ("box"), grey-black, white or grey and grey-brown or yellow. The leaves are straight narrow and glossy grey green. Flowers white, or cream.

This Australian burl is very hard and dense, polishes beautifully, and has a ton of figure! Thanks for asking.
Kurt:)
