Cup of Joe

Yellowheart & Mokore
Finish:
2 coats Watco Danish Oil
Mirror Coat Epoxy (2 coats) then sanded to 1200.
I've only sold one turned mug. I just don't have the time and I don't work the craft shows. I've done a couple so far for friends and colleages. This one was supposed to go to my cousin as a gift, but the colors aren't quite right (not red enough he's a USC fanatic). I'll be turning another one with bloodwood to get a redder color.

For those on a craft circuit, these might be a nice addition to the normal lidded boxes, stoppers, and bowls normally offered. This mug is now resident at my desk at work where I can now display something of my addiction other than a turned pen.

My local WoodCraft in (Orange County, CA store) carries the inserts. The liners are also available at my site http://www.SmoothTurning.com.
