Curly Maple/Cherry Open Segmented Bowl

Curly Maple/Cherry Open Segmented Bowl

A bit challenging but I'm happy how it turned out. Outside bowl is made out of cherry and curly maple wood. The rim is made from ambrosia maple. This is done using the open segmented style, The inside of the bowl is closed segmented using curly maple. The bowl is 5 ½ x 10 ½. I used oil finish.
I see your description but don’t see the inside of the bowl Jim; sounds like an interesting end result!! Have you fit two bowls together?
