The main body of this vessel is curly maple (12 staves) with walnut veneer. The lid is segmented (12) ziricote with a Taiwanese juniper burl insert. The finial is African blackwood and the base is also ziricote. 12" H x 4 1/4" D.

OH! MY! GOODNESS!
This one of the best that I've seen.
I've made several stave vessels in the past. Most people don't understand the difficulty in make one. I consider the stave construction to be more difficult than standard ring type segmented turns. Keep up the good work.
