Deeper Spiral

Walnut 7" h. x 6" dia. I never thought of a "series" since I like to try different things, but I guess we could call it that since I did a similar piece recently. Here, I accentuated the "S" curves and made the cuts, and resulting curves, deeper. It created a different effect.
I would appreciate any comments, good or bad.

A very interesting piece, and unique. I cannot tell you why, but I get a more negative feel when looking at it.

Hal-

I think it might be the lines, they don't flow right. Instead in a continious flow they stop and make a some what hard turn then continue to the base. The eyes pick it up right away.

Thanks Hal and Gary. I couldn't put my finger on it but I think you did, Gary. I made the "S" curve too sharp and your eye doesn't flow naturally with the curve. Good lesson learned.
