Details photos of "The Comet"

Here are detail photos of "The Comet" showing the splayed "tail" and the ring and glass "orb" under the top. The tail sections are made of several layers of veneer glued over a curved form. The ring is the top edge of an open cylinder painted flat black and the marble is held up on a small stand underneath. Hopefully the illusion is that they are floating in space.
