Dragonflies, burned relief

Dragonflies, burned relief

This cherry piece stands 4 1/4" tall, and is 3 3/4" diameter, finished with Danish oil. I've used a burning relief technique similiar to the one Andi Wolfe uses. Her botanical relief pieces inspired this one. I used a Prismacolor marker to give the bodies slight color.
splendid! ... this is one of your best!

...and a picture sized where i can actually see the detail (am i gettting old or what!)

nice work
