Elm Teapot

Elm Teapot

My mother collects ceramic teapots so I made her one from elm for Christmas. It's 6 in. diameter, about 8 in. tall, finished with sanding sealer and lacquer.
Beautiful and a little out of the ordinary! I like seeing fresh ideas. The only change I would make is to hollow out the spout, at least far enough that it looks functional. Your mother is lucky!
