Escaping With Nature, Anticipation

Another in my Escaping With Nature series. This piece is 8" high as displayed and features my Double Natural style in a hollowed vessel with both a natural top surface as well as a natural edge opening. From flamed boxelder with water features following natural contours in the piece. Light fast dyes were used for the water features as well as to preserve the flame coloring. The basket is turned from butternut. And the ropes are brass wire. It balances on a stone and the figure is climbing to the top in order to escape with nature.
