Eucalypt Bowl - 8" x 7"

Eucalypt Bowl - 8" x 7"

This piece of eucalyptus wood was rescued from the firewood pile. It was insanely hard timber and I had to do a lot of gouge sharpening along the way. It had many character cracks and a couple that could have been structural, but I left the walls quite thick to combat that issue. So it's a heavy bowl, but hopefully the carving adds a nice touch to compensate the heavy design.
