Chaco carving on mountain juniper. This is the first mountain juniper I have added the carving to. I have always used alligator juniper for this series. Getting used to it but think I like the alligator better. About 6 high by 8 wide.
Thanks Michael I think the copper color of the alligator looks better to my eye. The red of the mountain competes with the brick work. But what do I know, we’ll see how it does at the gallery.
