Gradient I

Gradient I is the first in my series of segmented turnings where I use graduated opposing layers of contrasting wood. The two contrasting woods used here are curly maple and Peruvian walnut. I finished it with tong oil/varnish. It is 6.5" diameter and 12.5" tall with walnut stopper.
