Infinite Possibilities

This is my second segmented ribbon, inspired by the classic book by Malcolm Tibbetts. It is made from sapele and yellowheart. The Möbius strip design began as two 12-inch bottomless bowls, each made from 16 3-inch wide staves. The removable stave-shaped base is a chunk of one-inch-thick ipe, painted black. Dimensions are 24 x 11-1/2 x 11-1/2 inches.
