My early obsession was radio and electronics. Not into sports I was the one holed up in his room disassembling some device, building something that might at least make smoke or late night scouring the AM bands searching out some faraway station.
In a junk store I ran across an old 6Z5 tube in cool colored box that sparked this. The body and antenna are turned and carved from a piece of Gingko and some hardwood scraps went into the spout, handle and base. Some pyrotexture to age the tower and some primary colors.11-1/2" x 7" x 2-1/4 .
