Macrocarpa Hollow Form another view

HI George

I like this piece as the form is pleasing and I like what you have done with the scorching, colouring and the inclusions.

I am not sure but it looks as if I can see some radial lines/sanding marks just where the light flares on the front of the form. This may be wax lines if you have waxed it on the lathe. This for me is the only small issue that takes my eye.

Nice to see your varied work.

take care

George

I have never wire brushed a piece so I can;t advise how to do it. I assume you wire brushed it to take out the soft grain. I would have just cut it back again with abrasive to get rid of the marks but like I say I am not familiar with this sort of texturing.

Take care

Mark
