Spalted Maple. The small pot was turned from what was left in the chuck after parting off the larger vessel. Larger one is 5 1/4" x 3 3/4". Finish is Waterlox. Comments welcome
Very attractive forms, Carole. Your finishes are exceptional!! Guess I need to try this Waterlox. All this time I thought Waterlox was water based finish, until you said it is oil based. Nice photo too.
 
These are both gorgeous. The forms fit the figure of the wood beautifully. The finish makes me want to reach out and touch the wood. Really pretty.
 
Very nice Carole...looks like you're gettin' the hang of this hollowing stuff.
