Natural Edge Bowl - 542

The wood is English Walnut, Size is 11
Nice NE bowl Ed!
Love the thin walls and how much sapwood is in this piece, beautiful job!

Very nice piece. Wonderful contrast between the natural edge and the sapwood. Did you stain or darken the bark to enhance that contrast?

Dale

Thank you Jim and Dale.

Dale, No stain. Danish oil and then buffed. The bark is very dark. The oil makes it richer and no tearout makes it very smooth. The wood itself is the finest Walnut I've ever worked. There are no blemishes or cracks anywhere on this piece of wood!
