Oak hollow lidded form with Anjan lid and carved finial

This form is 120mm dia x 120 mm high. The oak was locally sourced and turned to a wall thickness of around 4 mm. The body and the lid were finished with shellac sanding sealer and the buffed to a high shine using cannuba wax.

Any comments welcome, well not any , you know what I mean :-)

Beautiful shape Mark and I really like the finial. It looks like you have a great finish on the piece for being Oak.
