5.5" bowl, thin turned maple covered with rock using an acrylic medium to adhere then layered with black and silver acrylic paint. Yes it is very heavy now. Another exploration of alternative mediums, each time is a learning experience. very hard to photograph a dark material with multifaceted surfaces.

That is fabuous what an idea I would call that art its so original It looks primeval like something that came out of the bowels of the earth about 4 billion years ago and your right photographing dark textured surfaces is a pain!!!
