Baltic Birch plywood bowls with walnut and redwood rims.

The largest bowl is 12" dia. by 5.5" high.
The smallest bowl is 3.25" dia. by 2" high.
The middle sized red rim bowl has an elevated foot on it.

Poly-tung oil finish, then buffed and waxed.

The smaller bowls were cored out of the larger ones.

Plywood is not the greatest stuff to turn!

The baltic birch didn't have any patches or voids. Don't try this with regular plywood is my advice.

They turned (no pun intended) out quite well in the end.

Comments welcome.
very nice, the squared off rim catches the eye

WOW!

That is one of the most impressive uses of plywood I have seen. Very nice lines. A+ all the way.

Wow! I'm always wondering what to do with all the scrap baltic plywood I seem to accumulate. This is recycling as art!!
