Pear HF

pear tree, 135 X 135mm
Danish oil on the natural portion, nothing on the turned part (I'm afraid that it becomes dark)
I knew that there were many cracks, I deal with ...

The idea came while watching the rim around the rotten branch . Hollowing was not easy because
the opening did not running true
Comments welcome
I wish you good turnings,
Lionel.
At first, I didn't realize you used an existing knot hole.......great job of it!

I'd be willing to bet someone, somewhere has the answer to fine-tuning and truing up the knot hole to center.......maybe using shims?

Anyway......very creative, and imaginative of you, Lionel........

Nice job Lionel, dont think I have seen Mother Nature provide the opening for a turn before, it certainly retains a wonderful natural result.
